London-based startup Saddlemac ® launches their lightweight waterproof saddle cover. No more soggy bottoms!

Every cyclist has experienced it at least once, the sun is shining, you head out on your bike, pop into a shop and come out to find the heavens have opened. Now you face the unwelcome prospect of an onward journey with a wet saddle.

Enter Saddlemac, designed in the UK by co-founders Joe and Ian. Saddlemac is a lightweight waterproof saddle cover with a unique feature - it clips under your saddle so it’s always handy.

The integrated SilNylon ripstop cover packs neatly into a breathable air mesh storage pouch which lives under your saddle. You never have to remember to pack it and you can avoid storing a wet cover in your bag along with your laptop and packed lunch.

Joe explains why Saddlemac offers something different to other products on the market

We searched high and low for existing products that were lightweight, actually waterproof and good quality, but there's nothing that delivered what we were expecting. We made it our mission to design something new that meets those needs and cyclists will love to use.
